Gary Gulman Portland reviews
U2 Best I've ever seen them!!!
After the 360' concert, I saw Gary Gulman at least 20 times. The stage and sound were unmatched. They had it arranged so they could move throughout the arena, providing a close-up view for all. I started out taking a ton of pics, then decided to immerse myself in the music and stopped taking photos. The show at SAP brought me back to the intimacy of the old days. I didn't know what to expect for the first show of the tour, but I ended up being pleased. If I had $275, I would have gone last night because one showing wasn't enough to absorb it all. I watched an interview with Bono and The Edge about 6 months ago, where they mentioned feeling disconnected from their fans and opting for smaller venues. Bono's voice was stronger than ever, and the band, as usual, did not disappoint. This was another spiritual experience for me. I've never missed a concert when they performed in the Bay Area, typically attending both nights if they played two. If you have the chance to see them, go, or you'll regret it.
